The Jardins de la Régie

What if you were one of the rare visitors who had the privilege of discovering the Jardins de la Régie in Lailly-en-Val? A confidential one-hectare garden, which opens its doors two weekends a year and offers themed workshops in summer.

This 10,000m² contemporary garden was created around ten years ago by botany and landscape enthusiasts. They skilfully combine ‘garden art’ and ‘art in the garden’.

A contemporary garden

A venue renowned for its Aucuba collection

The Jardins de la Régie are made up of several themed areas. As soon as they enter, visitors are drawn into the 4 squares arranged according to the compass rose, followed by the pleasure garden, the vegetable garden and the orchard.

The garden has a collection of Aucuba, a species of shrub native to Central Asia and Japan, approved by the Conservatoire des Collections Végétales Spécialisées (CCVS).

The garden joined the Association des Parcs et Jardins de la Région Centre-Val de Loire (APJRC) in November 2015.
