In Prénouvellon (Beauce la Romaine), Jean-Baptiste Étave is continuing the family tradition, having taken over La Ferme de l’Ormeteau two years ago. Committed to sustainable farming, he carefully cultivates cereals and legumes, while developing a walnut production that has earned him a strong reputation over the past several years.
The walnut trees, planted 6 to 7 years ago, now produce a highly regarded variety: FERNOR, known for its delicate and well-balanced flavor. Sold directly from the farm, the range of products – whole walnuts, walnut kernels, and walnut oil – appeals to lovers of quality and local sourcing.
The oil is pressed externally, but each bottle is filled and packaged at the farm with the same care as the harvest itself. A truly local, flavorful production.
