Built at the end of the 11th century on an ancient place of worship, the church of Saint Jean-Baptiste in Tavers underwent major reconstruction work between 1862 and 1864. The church has a bell tower with a spire, a nave with three aisles, a transept and a raised choir. It has a stained-glass window showing soldiers from the 1914-1918 war praying in the trenches. In the sacristy, there is a chasuble that was embroidered during the Renaissance.
