Cléry Son & Lumière : Liberté, les combattants de l’ombre
The Son & Lumière de Cléry brings to life a past close to home, that of the German Occupation. The aim is always to tell the story of people's lives and local history, in the context of a broader history.
Much more than a show, the creation of Son & Lumière is nourished by the testimonies of those who lived through this four-year period, from the armistice of June 1940 to the Liberation in August 1944. Dark years marked by the courageous acts of the Resistance, but also by the cynicism and cowardice of collaboration, in a country deprived of everything, especially freedom.
This year's show focuses on the Combatants.
