Animation : Les mares aux princes charmants
The Conservatoire d'espaces naturels Centre-Val de Loire invites you to a nature walk on the Mares de Villenouan nature reserve in Lailly-en-Val. The main interest of this site is the presence of the Brown Pelobate, the most endangered amphibian in mainland France. This is the only site in the region with a significant, functional population of the species, and one of the
and one of the 5 most important stations at national level.
In spring, frogs, toads and newts set out to conquer the ladies. Come and discover the secret life
of the Mares de Sologne during this evening event, lit by flashlights and accompanied by the sound of green tree frogs.
This event is subject to weather conditions, and the date and conditions of participation are subject to change.
