    The north of our region is full of curiosities! Beauce la Romaine is home to one of the largest concentrations of megaliths in the region. They are found both in the upper Aigre valley and in the Mauves basin in the Loiret department. These megaliths, vast collective burials, were built from limestone slabs taken from the Beauce plateau.

    Located in the fields of Beauce and particularly visible in autumn and winter, these megaliths are a fabulous testimony to the Neolithic period. Discover them for yourself!
