Description of heritage

  • Descriptif du site et monument historique
Notre-Dame church is located in the centre of the village of Dry, close to the town hall.

The choir, transept, north aisle and side chapel to the south were built in the 15th century, when the first church, dating from the 12th and 13th centuries, was remodelled. The first bell tower seems to have been built on the four large pillars of the choir. In 1850, the large sacristy was built, followed by the extended nave in 1857. The architect Clouet built the bell tower to the east of the nave in 1874.
