On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, discover the collections of the Musée La Monnaye in Meung-sur-Loire.

The Musée La Monnaye is home to the Gaston Couté collection, a songwriter and poet from the early 20th century. You'll also discover an archaeological, paleontological and numismatic collection, presented in the form of a cabinet of curiosities. Finally, a bibliophilic showcase featuring rare and precious works by three great names in Magdun history: Jehan de Meung (Roman de la Rose), Villon (Le Grand testament written in the jails of the Château de Meung) and Dumas (Les Trois mousquetaires).
