On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, discover the Porte d'Amont, Meung-sur-Loire's emblematic monument. Built in the 13th century, the Porte d'Amont is the town's gateway to the ramparts. Its defensive character is evident in its archways, gunports, passageways and firing chambers. Large openings were made in the 17th century. Discover the recent restoration of the last monumental element of the ramparts.
