Compagnie Boréale revisits the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, updating it for our modern world.

Emma is a modern-day teenager addicted to new technologies and at odds with her mother. In a dream, she becomes Snow White. She is transposed into a parallel world where she becomes both heroine and victim. The set design uses a huge book whose pages are turned as the story unfolds. The pages are pop-up images in large format. In this way, the company achieves the tour de force of reinventing a mythical tale with poetry, delicacy and inventiveness.
