Launched at the initiative of the community of Loire river boatmen, La Grande Remontée is a nautical adventure that is at once scientific, artistic and festive, designed to pool knowledge and practices linked to the river.

From Saint-Nazaire to Orléans, the crews embark on traditionally-inspired boats, forge close links with the Loire and the region, share convivial moments with local residents during stopovers, and bear witness to the vitality of the Loire's heritage.

On Saturday September 20, the Grande Remontée will call at Beaugency!
