Bringing together a group of high-flying musicians with a friendship so deep that they decided to dispense with a conductor, the Squadron has won numerous awards.

L'Escadron Volant de la Reine refers to the ladies-in-waiting recruited by Catherine de Médicis. Through their presence and conversation, they were charged with pacifying human relations within the European courts.

This concert is presented in the collegiate church of Saint-Liphard, as part of "Scènes vagabondes", organized jointly by the Théâtre d'Orléans / Scène nationale and the town of Meung-sur-Loire from May 13 to 24, 2025.
